Education Coordinator and Makeup Artist

Due to our continued success, we are expanding and looking for a passionate Education Coordinator and Makeup Artist to join our team.

ROLE:
We are seeking a skilled makeup artist and dynamic coordinator to join our education team to promote our Pixi and Pop brands throughout assigned areas to market as well as provide service to our customers and partnerships. This individual will maintain our merchandising standards and will create a meaningful educational experience with all interactions. This role with also have administrative responsibilities and work with computers. You will also align with our core company values: Innovation, Drive, Authenticity, Responsibility, and Teamwork.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about educating and helping customers in their purchase journey. You would have experience working with world-class brands and building brand awareness and loyalty.

Strong communicator and capable to think fast on your feet and be proactive about finding ways to support the department's needs. The key for success in this role will be the ability to be agile and flexible to the business needs as well as experience working with computers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assisting Education Department with administrative tasks and creating training tools.
Building and maintaining relationships with retail partners and customers during In-store Visits.
Educating and raising brand awareness in all interactions.
Application of beauty products to create looks with appropriate colour palette, various tools, and applicator usage in a sanitary fashion.
Providing and maintaining exceptional and authentic customer service experience and product recommendations.
Retain a high level of knowledge and familiarity with Pixi and POP products, regimens, prices, product specifications to effectively promote our brands.
Executing and visual directives and schematics to ensure the fixture is set properly and timely.
Stocking, merchandising, and cleaning display according to guidelines
Communicating with retail partners and customers though various channels via phone calls, in-person, virtually, and emails.
Promptly communicating relevant feedback to positively affect the productivity and growth of the company to appropriate team member.
Achieving and exceeding personal and department targets.
Embody and articulate Pixi Beautys brand values within all interactions
All other responsibilities will be as assigned.

PHYSICAL DUTIES:
Walking, bending, and standing for extended periods of time
Moving, handling, and lifting up to 50 lbs
Stocking, merchandising and cleaning displays in accordance to brand guidelines
Practicing the removal of waste and proper cleaning procedure duties, carried out daily

REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma, general education degree, or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year retail experience preferred
Licensed Cosmetologist required
Strong makeup artistry and /or skincare selling experience and knowledge
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven experience and a passion for working with customers
Ability to problem solve and manage time successfully
Comfortable using computers
Thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment
Flexible and adaptable
Interest in the beauty industry is a must
