Airbrush makeup artist and hairstylist

An on location service is looking for experienced makeup artists, skincare specialists/estheticians and hair stylists to work a fun-filled beauty service. Makeup and Hairstytist wiil work as an on location makeup artist in weddings, bridal events, fashion shows and more. Consultants should have excellent speaking skills, and be outgoing.



Job Purpose:
Serves customers by Preparing, Styling hair.

Duties:

* Experienced in Cosmetics and Skin Care

* Knowledgeable of current cosmetics trends and skin care

*Outgoing and Personable with excellent client service skills

*Must be willing to sign a 3mo to 6mo contract

*Must work weekends.

* Knowledge of trends, product information.

* Prepares hair for styling by analyzing hair condition.

*Must take good verbal directions

* Must be willing to be on location for all services.

* Plans desired effect by studying facial features; examining potential styles; conferring with customer; making recommendations.

* Produces desired effect by arranging, shaping, curling, cutting, trimming, setting, hair.

* Maintains quality service by following organization standards.

* Maintains safe and healthy conditions by following organization standards and legal regulations.

* Obtains revenue by recording or collecting charges.

*Education and Qualifications: Cosmetology or Esthetician Certification are preferred

* Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications.

* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

* Must have all own equipment including airbrush makeup,hairstyling supplies, car to perform on location services

Applicants should be articulate, capable of writing business correspondence in a professional and grammatically correct manner, extremely pleasant, able to speak English fluently, and well-groomed. Our Houston office operates like a high-end, private salon but we conduct a lot of marketing and administrative tasks as well, so the ideal applicant should be comfortable in that kind of environment.
